Meet Ling, a leggy lady who likes taking walks, being sweet and gentle, and singing quietly to herself when she thinks no one’s listening. Girl, belt it out! You got this! The world is your stage, and you’ve earned the starring role in this grand performance called life! Ling came to us in ruff shape, but the care, makeovers, love, and attention she’s getting are making her so comfortable and happy. All she needs now is YOU.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Ling is really the most gentle, sweetest lady I’ve ever met! She loves to snooze on your lap but is also fine when you leave the house for a few hours, so you don’t have to feel guilty every time you go into the office or step out for an errand. When I come back she is just sleeping on the bed. Also perfectly good with baths. She has been very good with peeing outside.
She’s shown signs of playfulness (initiating play, interest in tug of war) and it’s adorable!
It takes her a little bit to warm up and feel comfortable. Crossed fingers for a full tail wag soon) She is such a love and will greet you with a big stretch in the morning/when you come back home
I’ve taken her on longer walks (longer than 30 minutes) and she does so well! She’s also happy being shown the world in a stroller when she gets too tired :) She is just crazy for any kind of dog food, human food, all kinds of food and follows you around everywhere, but especially in the kitchen, just waiting for you to “accidentally” drop a little treat.
She gets along well with any dog and human. I have never heard her bark but she lets out these random cute little quiet singsongy grumbles- I am still trying to decipher them but they are just TOO cute, I find myself putting my ear next to her every time just so I can hear it better! I’ve only had her for three days but already she is braver with asking for pets (will boop your hand).
If you are ready to give a new friend all the gentle TLC, cuddles and kisses your heart can offer, this is your gal :)
