Lima!

Lima!

Border Collie Mix
Male
Large (50-90 lbs)
Status: Available from another shelter

Lima was originally adopted as a puppy from the Stanislaus Shelter in 2018 and lived seven years with his family. Sadly, he was recently found wandering alone, and when his owner was contacted through his microchip, they declined to reclaim him and asked that he be taken back to the shelter. After all his loyalty, Lima found himself homeless at seven years old and placed on the RED list for euthanasia—scheduled for October 6th at 6:00 a.m.

We couldn’t let that be the end of his story, so he is now safe in foster care. Lima is gentle, potty trained, and still full of life. The citizen who found him shared that he’s good with cats, children, and enjoys walks and car rides. He truly deserves to live out his golden years in a loving, stable home.

Neutered male, black and white Border Collie and Labrador Retriever.
