Lima Bean comes to us from Sanger Animal Shelter and was originally found as a stray. Despite all of the changes he has been through he is settling in and making himself right at home here at Muttville. He’s looking for someone to snuggle with and follow around with love in his eyes. Beanie is such a sensitive soul! He may have been treated a little poorly, because he is not one of those gregarious insta-lovers. It takes Bean a little while (like a day) to decide that you’re okay, and when he does – wow. He is the most loyal, loving guy you’ve ever met. As soon as he’s sure of you, he is devoted. He’s happy just to be next to you. He likes somewhat leisurely outings, nothing super strenuous, and walks on a leash like a gentleman. What a wonderful, adoring companion he will be to his new person.
He is fine with my other dogs, though he was occasionally clueless about their personal space. They explained and he got the message. He’s not ready for kids or anybody who’s going to come at him quickly – he really does need to be nurtured and helped along. He is so loving, just waiting for somebody to devote himself to.
