Lilly Grace

#10808
Chihuahua/Mix
Female
9 lbs (small)
Status: Adopted

Lilly Grace with the lengthy legs and the long tail that is always in motion. She is a kindhearted soul who is as sweet as pie. She doesn’t mind other dogs, she prefers to have a playmate! Lilly Grace is looking for someone who will tell her what’s in front of her, what’s behind her, and how blue the sky is each and every day. Yes, she is vision impaired, but that doesn’t halt her curiosity and navigation skills. She likes to explore, loves short walks in the sunshine, and enjoys getting lots of attention from her humans. Lilly would do best in a stair-free home and kindly asks you to carry her if you happen to have a few exiting the house. Once you meet her, we are sure you’re going to bend over backwards for this adorable Chihuahua. Meet Lilly Grace today!

Here’s some notes from her foster:

Lilly Grace is the sweetest dog, and we have absolutely loved fostering her thus far! She always wants to know what we are up to, and doesn’t like leaving us out of her sight. Whenever we sit down she will immediately come sit pressed next to us, and curls up into the cutest little donut.

She is visually impaired so when walking her we guide her with the leash and our voice, but that doesn’t stop her from sniffing around and taking a lap around the block. She’s pretty spry for her age and is able to jump on/off the sofa and bed, and can keep up pretty well on a walk. We take her out on potty breaks every 3-4 hours which seems to be enough to avoid accidents inside. She has used the pee pad once, and I think it would be possible to pee pad train her if you’re not home as often.

When we aren’t taking her on a walk (~two 20 minute walks/day) she is typically curled up sleeping on the couch. She loves blankets, cuddling, and sniffing around. So far Lilly has only been exposed to our dog at home, Eugene, and there have been no issues. Eugene is not very friendly which Lilly respects, although she does try to hang out with him every now and then.

She is so sweet and easy going that I think she would get along with any other dogs/people. We love her so much and think everyone else will too!
