We thought Levi, a leggy chi with aerodynamic ears, was shy. Then we found out, given a moment to settle, he’s a love hound with gymnastics training. Could be a one-time circus entertainer, we don’t know, but once he falls for you, often in a matter of seconds, he’s in your lap, or, if you’re squatting, balanced with all four paws on one of your knees – and wagging. Needless to say, he’s peppy and affectionate. Also friendly with fellow dogs. Come meet him before the Cirque du Soleil recruiters find him.
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Levi is a sweet, sweet dog with a heart full of love and a personality that charms everyone he meets. He adores people, gets along well with other dogs, and finds joy in the simple things—like birds, flowers, fresh air, and especially treats and food (chicken and rice is his current favorite). A true lap dog at heart, Levi loves to curl up for cuddles and soak up all the gentle pets he can get. He’s fully potty trained, uses the yard reliably, and has never had an accident indoors, as long as his routine is respected. Levi sleeps soundly through the night and greets each morning with an adorable, happy dance. While he’s great about eating his own meals, he’s been known to sneak bites from others, so separate feeding is best. Gentle, easygoing, and endlessly affectionate, Levi is a lovable companion who brings joy and warmth wherever he goes.
