Who’s that little fellow with the confident bowlegged swagger, walking into Muttville like he owns the joint? It’s Leo!
Leo is a friendly, good-natured little chap and oh so very cute. He gets along with other dogs and will bring lots of love to his new family. Are you ready Leo?
Here’s what his foster has to say!
I’ve been fostering Leo since July 15th, and I can already tell that he will make a happy and fun addition to someone’s home! He is the ‘anti-Chihuahua’. Any negative ideas that anyone has regarding Chihuahuas are completely dispelled by him. He has even charmed my dog groomer, who is partial to German Shepherds!
Leo is curious and social and he’s not intimidated by other dogs, even the x-large ones. Leo has the perfect amount of confidence but with no aggression.
Leo really likes exploring the entire dog park and sniffing every dog that comes in. He’s an active little guy and he enjoys following other dogs around the park.
Even though he can be independent, he also really likes to be held and melts like butter in your arms. It may take him a little time to fully warm up but once he does, he loves all the love! He was even very compliant when I held him while my dog groomer trimmed the hair between his pads.
Leo is pretty quiet and is comfortable being left alone but I do think he would love a home with another dog to keep him company.
Leo is really easy to take care of. He is fine being at home and sleeping in his bed. He eats the canned food he’s given and likes soft treats. He also seems to be house trained!
