This little pup is made out of sugar, spunk, and sunbeams. Hand-crafted with top-quality cuteness components, Lemur is a perfect specimen of pure joy. Lemur is confident, stoked to meet everyone, and has a tail motor that could power a small city. The only thing between you and becoming her very best friend is a single T-R-E-A-T (we have to spell it or she will get too excited).
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Lemur shows her personality as soon as you meet her, with a tail that never stops wagging, and a big happy smile! She is the sweetest goofball that is going to bring SO much joy and love to her forever family.
At home, Lemur just wants to nap near you. She might have tiny little legs but she is willing and able to launch herself onto the couch if it means she can snuggle (I’ve never met a pup who loves belly rubs quite as much as she does!). Pay attention to when this normally quiet lady grumbles at you – she needs to potty! She has quickly picked up what a potty pad is for. Bring out the treats or a puzzle toy and she turns into a bouncing zoomie puppy!
Outside, Lemur is an absolute dream to walk on leash, happily trotting next to you. She might want to stop to check out a smell occasionally, and will sometimes stall a bit, but shes up to explore the neighborhood if you want to keep going! When it’s time to go home, she picks up the pace and even after only 1 walk, this smarty pants knew exactly where my apartment was. She completely ignores bikes and other wheeled things, and usually ignores other dogs (unless they scare her, then she needs to tell them who’s boss!).
She adores getting pets from human friends of all sizes – she’s not a jumper and will only give kisses if you ask her to. I think she would love having a whole family to dote on her! She looooves car rides and immediately plops down for a snooze.
I haven’t seen her interact directly with cats but she doesn’t seem to have much of a prey drive so worth (slowly) trying.
