Lefty is such a cutie! This quiet guy is the total package, he’s great with dogs, cats and kiddos! He loves meeting new friends on his mellow walks, and his favorite thing in the world is snuggling on the couch. If you’re looking for a Netflix buddy, he’s your man!

Little Lefty is quite the amusing, mellow and friendly charmer. He loves meeting people, kids and dogs, and pays no attention to our resident cat – even when she thinks she’s having a dramatic standoff with him! He enjoys exploring different sleeping options (under the cushion in a dog bed has been the most original one so far), but his favorite seems to be snuggling with us on the couch after a good bout of rubbing his face against us. Once he finds a good spot, he’s out like a log for hours. He’s been happy to be with our two resident dogs, but I suspect he’d be just as happy as a solo dog.
Lefty has short little front legs that keeps him at a perpetual forward tilt. He moves slowly, with occasional spurts of relative speed that usually involve food. He can sometimes jump up to the couch (and often fails) and can also go easily up our stairs, though he’s so long and low that I just carry him down the stairs so he won’t tumble over. He enjoys his sniffaris and will slowly go around the block with us, but he’s just as happy keeping it shorter.
Lefty has zero separation anxiety. He is such a funny little guy with his mismatched legs and ears, his short legs, wide ribcage and tiny hips, tiny steps and swaying gait, and his friendly and determined nature. He makes us laugh every day!
