If you like potatoes but wish they were more emotionally expressive, then you must meet Lassie. While a traditional potato may sometimes have eyes, Lassie has 1) a complete face, 2) a big wide smile, and 3) a tail that never stops wagging. So when it comes to communicating feelings, our girl wins all day long. Lassie is such a sweet, happy, friendly lady. But don’t take our word for it. Come find out for yourself!
Here’s some notes from her foster:
I wanted to give an update on Lassie now that she’s been with us for two weeks. She’s lost some weight and gained a waist, and easily handles 30 minute walks! She’s keeps up a good pace with short sniffing (or rather, snorting) breaks to get all the good smells. I suspect she can go longer but we’re slowly building up the minutes to make sure we don’t overdo it. She loves greeting people on our walks and seems to really like children. She’s also been fine with the dogs we meet.
Lassie’s wonderful personality matches her winning smile and constantly-wagging tail! She’s a friendly, sweet and mellow girl who enjoys long naps, snuggling, and eating.
She rides nicely in the car, can handle stairs, is house trained, enjoys cuddling and has no separation anxiety. She also gets along well with our resident dog and ignores our cat, and is fine with the dogs and people on our walks. She sleeps soundly (with record-level snores!) through the night in a dog bed. She brings lots of smiles everywhere she goes and is a real gem!
