Lark

Lark

#11316
Pomeranian
Female
14 lbs (small)
Status: Adopted

This beautiful songbird is patiently waiting for you to take her home. Lark is one of the top performers in fur softness, and is top of her class in being gentle. She frequently gets distracted by new snells, which means she will be the best companion on all of your future snifari walks. What a good girl.

Here’s some notes from her foster:

Lark is super-soft and feels a lot lighter than 15 pounds. If you’re looking for a lap dog, she is a great contender. She feels light as a feather and doesn’t squirm or fuss or invade your nose space. Every other minute she’ll turn and look at you lovingly with those soft, thankful eyes. It’s really sweet.

Lark gets along with other dogs and cats, but she is more of a people person. She’s affectionate, curious, extremely gentle, and trusting. She does her business quickly when taken outside. She sleeps through the night and doesn’t have separation anxiety when I go to work. However, I wouldn’t suggest leaving her for more than 5 hours without a potty break. Lark can hold her bladder through the night, but she should be taken out to pee first thing in the morning.

As described above, Lark is a champion sniffer, which makes her partial to slower walks. She’s not incapable of moving at a quicker pace, but it doesn’t seem to be her preferred speed. If you have multiple dogs that move at different speeds, this might make walking on leash challenging.

Overall, Lark is super sweet, super gentle, very quiet, and has been a wonderful houseguest. I will miss her once she’s adopted by the smartest person alive.
