Lago is a spunky and unique Spaniel/Corgi mix who was originally found as a stray in Martinez.
He is a loyal and mellow boy who can’t wait to make your family complete! Lago likes going for walks and is the perfect adventure buddy. Due to his age he can be a bit grumpy, so a quieter, adult-only home would be ideal for him. Lago is potty-trained and LOVES to play fetch! He is sure to put a smile on your face.
We think Lago is about 11 years young; he weighs a bit under 25 pounds.
Lago’s foster dad has these wonderful things to say about this special pup:
“Lago is house trained, and he doesn’t chew or engage in other destructive behavior. He does well with other dogs and enjoys being around people. He likes going for walks and is the perfect adventure buddy. He is well-acquainted with city life and it’s accompanying stresses such as loud noises, traffic, trains, etc. He was a champ at the groomer; he sheds very little, despite his thick coat! He rides well in cars (and elevators!). He’s active but not hyper; he loves to play with toys, and is fond of tug-of-war and fetch. He’s not a lapdog, but he loves to be close by us all the time.”
