I’ve been fostering Kona for 5 days and he’s starting to come out of his shell and explore the house more. He like to sleep and doesn’t seem to understand going for walks but he likes to explore the back yard.
He’s pretty good with potty training as long as you bring him outside every few hours. He is vision impaired so he’ll need to find a home that doesn’t have any stairs. He has a great appetite which is good because he needs to gain weight! He also gets along fine w other dogs and cats.
Because Kona has a history of being abused and doesn’t see well, he can be a little skittish. His perfect forever home will be a quiet and patient family who can help him gain confidence and to trust that he is safe.
