If you’re looking for a partner in crime, well, stopping crime, than gorgeous schnauzer Knight Rider might be the mutt for you! While we can neither confirm nor deny whether he has a sentient automobile to tag team with, we can assure you that he has some impressive whiskers and a nose for the treats! Knight will happily accompany you on watch patrols around your neighborhood under the guise of a leisurely stroll, and he’d love to check out the local restaurants for intel of course (but maybe a snack). His steps may have slowed and his eyes aren’t what they used to be, so he’s mostly retired, but the thrill makes him feel alive. Do you want a partner like Knight Rider?
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Knight Rider is one of the sweetest dogs I have had the good fortune to foster. He is very loving and silly. He is in great shape and can go for nice long walks. He is good on the leash and enjoys meeting people and dogs on our walks. He doesn’t like all dogs, but the ones he doesn’t like, he just moves on from. He wants to greet all strangers we see on our walks.
KR is a perfect gentleman and is well trained. He sits to have his leash put on and taken off, he sits for his food and provides his paw in order to get treats (which he takes gingerly). He has a great appetite and is house trained. He sleeps in my bed with me and sleeps through the night. He is quite spry and can jump up into the bed or onto the couch when invited.
He is very handsome and has longs legs that give him a gazelle like quality when jumping onto the couch. He listens well and comes when called. He likes to play and is pretty good at catch. He found one of my socks and played with it by tossing it around (he did not tear it apart – way to go KR!). All in all, KR is a fantastic dog!
