Fee Waived: A kind super fan of Kittle & Purdy has covered their adoption fee, so their adoption is free!
A bonded pair of adorable seniors, they twin to perfection with their gridiron namesakes. Purdy, in understated white, is sleek, smart and mild-mannered. Kittle, in a custom red uni and white mask, sports a permanent grin that hints at diabolical intelligence and an affinity for fun. Purdy likes to have Kittle in his sights. Kittle likes everything, especially Purdy. Together they are unbeatable. Draft them for your home team! They’ll be the life of your Super Bowl party – every year. Go K-Niners!
Here’s some notes from their foster:
Kittle and Purdy both love to curl up in blankets and be cozy on the couch or bed with you! That’s their happy place. They enjoy car rides and are eager to jump in the car. They are also sun worshippers and will find the spot in the house or the backyard with the most sun, and stretch out for a snooze!
Kittle and Purdy are affectionate, generous with little doggy kisses, roll over quickly for belly scritches, and will paw gently for more attention (like if I start petting the other). They are relaxed work from home companions except for some barking at our three cats, although they don’t chase, have only been with us for a short time, and I think are starting to settle.
They are extremely food and treat motivated to the point that I am experimenting with feeding mats (so far turning a 60-second meal-in-a-bowl into a 3-5 minute meal on a feeding mat!). They have been on a bit of a recent weight loss journey, though. Kittle looks close to an ideal weight again, and Purdy will likely benefit from shedding another pound or two. They both enjoy chewing on bones and Kittle will play with a treat-filled puzzle toy. The smart doggies know basic commands like sit, stay, and come.
Kittle and Purdy are brisk little walkers, well-matched in size and pace, and easy to walk on leash together. They enjoy medium-length walks and are mostly go-go-go with only an occasional break to sniff the flowers. The boys fly up and down stairs, present as being in overall good health, and are not on any medications at this time. They seem to be completely potty-trained and no adjustment period was needed.
Kittle and Purdy are ready to make their future forever family extremely happy!
