Kino, a plucky mutt of the terrier persuasion, looks like he was created in The Muppet Workshop. He’s got features designed to evoke hilarity and endearment, and a personality that is a little Bert, a little Ernie and no Oscar at all. A friend to humans and dogs, he is also a squirrel fan, though the feeling is not mutual. Spritely, waggly and all about the scritches, he’s standing by to become your loyal sidekick and comic relief. If nothing else, come to get a load of his fabulous overbite.

Kino is the sweetest gentleman with a heart full of love to give. He may be a bit shy when meeting new people, but once he bonds with someone, he bonds deeply. Kino has formed a strong attachment to his foster mom, following her around the house and sleeping in his own dog bed right next to her at night.
This well-behaved boy is potty trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. Although he gets quite excited when meeting new dogs and may come on a little strong, he settles down quickly and loves being around other canine friends. Kino would thrive in a home with other dogs to keep him company.
Kino would do best in a home without small animals. Small dogs are ok, but no birds or rodents, please! He’s a chill guy who loves going on adventures and would be an ideal companion for someone who works from home. He likes to snooze on the couch most of the day. While Kino could benefit from some basic training, especially with leash walking, he’s very smart and highly food-motivated, making him a quick learner.
