Aptly-named Kettle Chip is glossy light brown, salty and irresistible. As soon as you get a taste of him you’ll want a dozen more. At least until you realize how filling this one chi can be. His ears alone are a double portion of cuteness, and when he tilts his tiny noggin and swivels them like spy satellites, you’re beyond satisfied. He likes a spot on your chest for over-shoulder-viewing when he isn’t challenging you to a game of chase, catch and cuddle on the floor. He brakes for naps, socializing and quiet contemplation. Visit and he’ll let you catch him when you’re ready to take him home.

Kettle Chip may be 9 yrs old but his energy is that of a puppy! He can easily walk for two hours without getting tired. When he’s not walking he’s just as happy to cuddle and settle down once back home. He is very curious about everything and loves to explore and sniff. He has no trouble conquering the stairs. He did 3 flights without a problem!
He’s quite a food fanatic and has a huge appetite for his small size. He shows his excitement by talking whenever he can’t wait from anticipating his meals or when he knows we’re about to go on a walk. But he also will sound like a little car engine when he really loves being baby talked to and scratched in his favorite spot around his hind legs. He’s gentle and polite with other dogs from the several I’ve seen him interact with.
If you like a lap dog he’s the perfect candidate as he will find any opportunity to prop into yours whenever you sit down, but will settle for sleeping on a chair nearby you if you must. He is a very easygoing pup!
