The first thing you’ll notice about Kennedy is that he’s got some stunning bangs – although you may wonder how he is able to see through such a thick fringe, he manages to do so with style. Putting the silver in silver fox (silver dog?), this distinguished gentleman knows that gray hairs are the sign of a life well lived. Kennedy is an amiable fellow, getting along well with the other mutts, and he adores a few scratches and treats if you’ve got the time. With his shoulders back and head held high, Kennedy has excellent posture and walks fearlessly through life. He believes that everything is going to turn out okay, including his search for a forever home. If you’re looking for an intrepid companion like this, come meet Kennedy!

Here’s notes from his foster:

Kennedy’s curiosity is my favorite thing about him. For a 14-year-old dog, he approaches life with so much interest and enthusiasm. He’s always exploring the house, checking out what everyone is doing, and making sure he doesn’t miss out on anything. His zest for life is truly impressive.

Kennedy strikes a wonderful balance between affectionate and independent. He loves spending time with people and happily makes the rounds collecting pets from everyone in the room, but he’s not clingy or demanding. He’s content to hang out nearby, do his own thing, and simply enjoy being part of the family.

He’s also surprisingly athletic for his age, his hops and mobility regularly leave us asking, ""Are we sure he’s 14?""

Kennedy’s perfect day would include a walk, plenty of opportunities to explore and investigate his surroundings, visits from all his favorite people, and lots of well-earned pets throughout the day and treats. He’d finish it all with a cozy spot to relax while keeping an eye on whatever is happening around the house.
