Meet Kelsey! This adorable Doxie/Chihuahua mix gal can’t wait to meet you!
Kelsey is a total sweetheart! We are still getting to know her, but can already tell what a loving girl she is. She enjoys going for walks, exploring, meeting other dogs, and just hanging out in her cozy bed. She is the perfect size and energy level for any kind of family, so come meet her soon!
Kelsey is 11 years young and weighs 19.6 pounds.
Here’s what Kelsey’s foster has to say about this sweet gal:
Kelsey is sweet & easygoing. She’s been getting ~45 minutes of daily activity for the past couple days. She enjoys walks & can take longer ones but is also content to relax on the couch for much of the day. She seems to be fine with other dogs but also doesn’t show much interest. Kelsey is pretty spry, especially given her age. Her house training is excellent – no accidents. We’ve been able to leave the dogs home alone for a work day (~9 hours?) without an accident from her. She’s the most easygoing mutt we’ve had in our home. She is incredibly smart; when she couldn’t jump up onto our very high bed, she figured out how to use her surroundings to basically get an intermediate step that would allow her to jump up more easily. Kelsey loves to jump up into our bed & go under the covers. She likes belly rubs & affection. She’s super cute, smart & chill – seriously don’t understand how she hasn’t been adopted yet. :) She’d make a perfect mutt for first time adopters!
