my name is kristine and i have a 13 year old doggie named keke. my husband and i adopted her when she was 9.
when we adopted her, she was in pretty severe condition battling skin infections, ear infections and her spay incision was also infected. she has bad skin allergies and have never been able to find a cause nor a solution for it.
she requires weekly, sometimes 2x a week baths and daily medication. we recently had a baby and found ourselves as many do, not having the time to care for keke.
Sad news for Keke: halfway through my pregnancy last year, we found a lump on her belly and had it removed. later on after sending it for biopsy, the vet confirmed it was cancer. we aren’t sure how long she has but the vet did say it was pretty aggressive. we’re hoping she can find a family that will love her as much if not more than we love her and can give her what she deserves as far as time and affection.
keke is a great doggie, she is relaxed, calm and just wants to nap and be loved. she does have some attitude tho and gives off “i do what i want when i want” – but that’s what makes her so very special. we love her dearly.
