Welcome to Muttville, Katsu!! This dear older chap is a 12year-old schnauzer with the most adorable fuzzy ears and gorgeous black fur with gray accents. He has very expressive gray eyebrows and dapper manners, and he’s been very pleasant with both the human and canine inhabitants of Muttville. He is so adorably cuddly that you’ll just want to grab and snuggle him, because he’s such a darling little nugget (or cutlet, as his name implies). This little gent looks like a teddy bear, so you’ll think one of your plushies fell off the bed when he peeks over. I’m sure most of us have wished for a living teddy bear at some point, so you can make your childhood dreams come true when you visit Muttville! Come on down and meet Katsu today!

Katsu has been an easy, calming presence since day one. He’s fully house-trained, very respectful of the home, and does well free-roaming with no accidents, no chewing, no fuss.
He enjoys being near people and loves to cuddle, but he’s also independent and comfortable on his own. There have been no signs of issues being left alone, and he rarely barks.
He walks well on leash and is food-motivated, which makes him easy to guide and train. He’s very tolerant with handling, whether that’s wiping paws or general touch. He can be a little unsure around stairs but will manage with some encouragement. He also rides well in the car and settles quickly.
He gets along with other dogs, but generally keeps to himself. Overall, he’s a gentle, low-key companion who would do well in a calm and loving home.
