Katniss is a bit shy at first, but once she settles in she will be your shadow! She gets along great with our resident dog, and also does great at the dog park! Can you believe we’ve never heard her bark? She does have a quiet little howl that she might let out when she is trying to tell you something!
She sleeps a lot when there is no activity happening in the household during the daytime. And she is fully awake when the human is moving around the home. If she falls asleep in the presence of human relaxing and then the human moves aways; Katniss will immediately get up following the human and will remain with human until they are back rested.
Katniss finally sleeps throughout the night but she prefers to sleep in bed with her humans! If you against having dogs in your bed, Katniss will eventually give up and lay in her bed and sleep!
She knows when to use the bathroom at the enclosed dog area of my complex. We are both working out a potty schedule. Katniss doesn’t know the words "sit and stay but she knows when I tell her to go to her bed. Everything is still a working progress.
