It’s time to play the music; it’s time to light the lights; it’s time to meet the muppets on the Muppet Show tonight! This episode’s special guest star is Kassala, an unbelievably perfect creation you could almost swear was a real animal. Straight from the mind of Jim Henson to your lap, Kassala loves to cuddle, hike, and torment Miss Piggy with her gorgeousness.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Kassala is love. Pure. Simple. Love. If you are her person (or people), she will tippy tap after you to make sure you don’t run out of love. Got work to do? After checking that your love supply is topped off, she will curl up in her bed (which you have wisely put very close by) and contentedly wait until you need a fill up. She might saunter off for a bit of sun while she waits, but she’s never too far.
Kassala has had no accidents and seems to be completely house-trained. She’s had free access to our backyard and takes herself out if she needs. Sleeps through the night, preferably smooched up next to you. In fact, smooched up next to one of her people is her preference, though sometimes she will sit on a pillow like the princess she is.
Need to walk? Kassala is on it! She loves to walk! Short. Long. Doesn’t matter as long as you are there. She’d just request maybe a little drinkie midway through. She gets very, very excited when she sees her harness come out. She also wants to say hello to all the people she passes – gotta share that love!
Kassala is showing interest in toys, but not so much our two bigger dogs. They hangout peaceably, but do not play. One of our dogs is a barker, and Kassala will join in, but she pipes down fairly quickly and will stop if she is told. She’s an enthusiastic eater and has shown no food guarding tendencies.
