What’s black and white and fun all over? It’s Junior! This silly, playful chi guy loves toys: tugging, fetching, settling down to chew them are all absolute faves. Junior is a also peppy walker, prancing by your side, enjoying the sniffs and sights of the day. Oh, and did we mention he’s ridiculously cute, likes other dogs, and has an irresistible smile? It’s impossible to be in a bad mood when Junior’s around!
HERE’S WHAT JUNIOR’S FOSTER HAS TO SAY!
Junior is a special little guy who still as some pep in his step but also appreciates the ‘slower’ things in life. He likes to nap in the sun for most of the day, and would do best in a quiet home as he gets overwhelmed with lots of noise/people. His little snores are just adorable!
Junior never misses a meal, and could lose a few pounds. He likes to be aware of everything that goes on in the kitchen, but he doesn’t beg. He has arthritis, and while he can handle stairs sometimes, the two flights of stairs in and out of his foster home have proven too challenging on a daily basis.
He enjoys shorter walks (10-15 min), and is mostly potty trained on puppy pads. He will mostly ignore other dogs, but doesn’t like to share his toys so he may do best in a home as the only doggo or with other pups who understand his boundaries. He can also be sensitive with humans and because of this, Junior would do best in a home with no children, or older children who will be mindful of his boundaries.
Junior does like to be petted and loved on and wants to be near us all the time. He will often come up to us for pets and cuddles and play time (fetch and tug are his favorites)! He’s a spunky little guy with a big attitude and lots of love to give.
