If you want to condense five years of therapy into five minutes, you must meet Jumbuck. He is one of those very special dogs who looks into your eyes with such deep, sustained, pure love that you will actually feel – no, you will know – that you are the luckiest person in the world.

Jumbuck is a scruffy, floofy, peppy little lamb who loves to give kisses. This boy is the epitome of a happy dog! He loves everyone he meets and will greet you with enthusiastic tail wags, and then will ask to snuggle with you on the couch. He’s social with other dogs too! Jumbuck has a playful spirit and so much love to give!

Jumbuck’s foster mom says: “He is a cuddler, sleeps through the night, and seems house trained! He LOVES walks and is agile and young!”

Here’s some more notes from his foster:

In Australia, “Jumbuck” is a sheep. And this little man is a sweet and strange little cryptid in sheep’s clothing. Okay sure, now that he’s healthier and happier, it’s more difficult to see the awkward exciting bits of this and that that make him up. He’s got a foxy little nose and expressive button eyes. His torso is solid propped up by skinny dancing legs. And somehow the butt of a hamster.

Jumbuck is spry and happy to hop up stairs and walk you around the neighborhood, flirting with any woman that will let him. He’s housetrained and willing to communicate with you when things may be happening if you know what to look for. Being brushed is a favorite time for him, which he definitely needs with his soft, cloudlike hair.

You should have an appreciation for the unique – not that he’s in any way difficult to enjoy being around – but that all the little quirks that make him and his strange little self up should be admired that much more for being as they are.
