Juliette is an elegant chi of mystery. Her perfect posture, long legs and light prance suggest a youth in the Ballets Russes de Monte Carlo followed by some runway work in New York. A sleek black coat, light grey mask and delicate ears add to her effortless chic. She’s no snob, though. Juliette mingles like a champ with other dogs and will deftly sashay, en pointe, to the lap of any available human to snuggle and snooze. Come gaze and cuddle, she will bewitch and beguile. Juliette has been delightful to have with us this week. Her slender ballerina legs are so dainty and graceful. I find her to be very sweet. She loves chin and ear rubs and just likes to hang with you. I was told that she is very shy, but I would call it being a little reserved. She is not boisterously outgoing, but she is very calm and respectful of her surroundings. She loves to rest in a soft cozy bed.
I have not heard one bark or any noise from her. She has done well with my cat-after showing a little curiosity, they basically ignore each other. She seems a little cautious around new dogs, but not really fearful. No concerning reactions. She walks well on a leash!
She seems to be very treat motivated. She comes when she’s called if she knows there is a treat coming. But, I think she will follow you anyway. Her energy is picking up as she gets comfortable here. She always wags her tail when she sees me and is eager to have a little attention.
She has done well being left alone. She is always happy to see me when I get home She does great on car rides, sits very quietly. I would say loud noises seem to startle her.
I think Juliette would be fine in any house with a decent routine and not overly noisy or chaotic as she is a quieter soul. She does have a sweet, playful energy which may develop more as she settles into her forever home.
