Joy, a majestic Pom-Chi mix, looks to come from a far-off land populated by intelligent four-legged creatures with plenty of poise and lavish hairdos. She occupies a lap like a throne, presiding serenely over her peers while enjoying snuggles and pets from human admirers. Definitely princess material, but she’s no snob. Just a little shy at first. She gets along great with other dogs and holds her own once she’s taken a few deep breaths. Looking for an elegant partner whose sweet nature is possibly contagious? Come find Joy.

True to her namesake, this little pup is such a great joy! Not only is she such a sweet princess, she is also quite good with eating (though she definitely enjoys some help either being spoon- or hand-fed), drinking water, and walking. She also loves treats! On our walks, she really enjoys taking her time and sniffing around. She is polite and mostly uninterested in other dogs. She likes to lead the way (and we usually follow her wherever her heart desires to go), but sometimes may need some help being redirected. She is super comfortable being carried!
At home, Joy likes to snuggle by you when you’re working or watching TV. She will plop down by my feet and take a nap, or hop up onto the bed. She is so easy to love, and she loves attention as well. When we leave, she does not vocalize but she does tend to scratch at the door to follow. It doesn’t seem like it’s due to separation anxiety, however, but rather a preference to go outside with you.
Joy is such a special girl, and she deserves nothing but the utmost love and care.
