Joshua

#2296
terrier mix
Male
Small (6-20 lbs)
Status: Adopted

When Joshua arrived a Muttville, he couldn’t use his rear legs very well. Our vets examined him and determined that he had probably sustained some kind of traumatic injury to his spinal nerves, but there was no evidence of disc disease, fracture or arthritis. We got him going on a physical therapy program and lo and behold, this sweet boy now loves nothing more than sprinting around with other dogs. His hind legs don’t quite match up with his front legs or with each other, but that doesn’t stop him. He loves and needs plenty of walks and run time. He’d enjoy an active household. We think Joshua is relatively young, maybe 7-9 years old. He is housebroken and not a barker, gets along with other dogs and cats and loves being with his people. He’d be a great companion for another small to medium dog. Joshua’s foster mom says “Joshua is an incredibly sweet dog, but the most amazing thing about him is his spirit, nothing holds this little guy back. He’s determined to live fully.”
