Joseph "Joey Doggo can not wait to enjoy a much deserved retirement. When we asked Joey what he is looking forward to the most, he said treats, soft beds, treats, warm cuddles, treats, grass to sniff, treats, head scratches, treats, a loving family, and also treats.
Here’s a note from his foster:
Joseph has been in my home for 5 days now. He’s so mellow – his name should be Snoop Dog. After the first day his tail has been wagging pretty much non-stop! He’s chill and respectful with my 2 smaller dogs. He loves looking out my balcony watching the world go by and, of course, naps.
Joseph walks at a moderate to slow pace without much pulling, showing a curiosity for everything. He’s excited to see other dogs and their humans (a good judge of character!) and he politely ignored a feisty chihuahua barking at him.
My guess is that he may be OK with cats. Since he has a heart murmur and I’m lazy, we haven’t gone long distances but we did 8 leisurely blocks today without issue. If you want a sweet quiet boy with lots of love to give Joseph is definitely your guy!
