Jordan just took a DNA test, turns out he’s 100% THAT FLOOF! This sweet boy is active and friendly, but also has no problem with alone time if you need to hit the town without him. Jordan loves people, can bro out with all kinds of dogs, and even chills with cats. He hopes his new life is filled with long walks, soft treats, and many cuddles.

Here are some notes from Jordan’s foster:

Mealtime: Jordan is pretty darn good motivated so he eats his meals in about 2 minutes flat. If it was up to him he’d eat treats all day, every day. He’s been enjoying freeze dried chicken liver treats while with me. He’s been able to begin to learn how to sit, stay, and come with the promise of a treat.

Potty breaks: I’ve been taking Jordan down to my dog run or out for a short walk 4 times a day. Our schedule has been between 9-10am, 1-2pm, 6-7pm, and 10-11pm. He is quick to potty on both our walks and our quick trips down to my dog run.

Sleeping habits: Jordan has been going back and forth between sleeping thru the night and getting up every few hours to stretch his legs. He really likes to sleep as close to his person as he can.

Temperament: Jordan lived as a strip of Velcro is his past life so he really likes to spend his time with his person. He can handle alone time for a bit, best done with him crated or in a smaller room so he can feel like he’s safe in his space alone. Mostly he just wants to snuggle with his person on a comfy couch and go on short walks.

Walks: speaking of walks, this is one of Jordan’s favorite things to do. His ears have two positions: floppy noodles during down town at home and tucked back into speed mode on his walks. He can get up a quick clip sometimes so make sure you can keep up with this speedy senior. He doesn’t pull on leash and will gently let you know when he’s ready for a rest stop. We’ve been going on 1-2 walks a day of about .5-1 mile each.
