Jonah is an amazing dog! Despite coming from the mean streets of Stockton, he aims to please and is a total ham. He starts out as a shy little guy but once he feels comfortable (which took about 20 minutes), he really blossoms into a clown. Whether it is sitting up on his back legs staring at you for attention, or jumping on your lap for snuggles, he demands your affection. And while he does love attention, he is an independent gentleman as far as his disability goes. You would never know he is a three legged tripod as he is playful, agile, and athletic. He quickly learned how to jump on the bed using a nearby stool and can navigate stairs with ease. He even loves to play fetch at the park.
Jonah would do great as a single dog who has the opportunity to socialize with other dogs or in a household with other pets, as he loves other animals. It seems that he gets attached and bonded to a single individual, even though he is sweet to everyone he meets.
JOnah is 7 years old and weighs 10 pounds.
