Joey and Zoey are definitely strongly bonded! While they enjoy their foster siblings they most prefer each other’s company with Joey sleeping with his head on Zoey’s rear. His favorite place is anywhere Zoey is.
They ride in the car well and walk on leash well. They are quiet and curious and they definitely still have a lot of pep in their step!
Zoey will jump on the couch and help herself to your lap. Joey seems hesitant to jump or walk stairs but he loves his human escalator.
We walked well over a mile at a good pace and they had energy to go much further! They are also both sleep champions and can snooze for hours without interruption. On walks they show curiosity, calm and confidence. Zoey inexplicably loves alleyways while Joeys wants nothing to do with them creating a rare "split between these bonded cuties. They showed no issues at all when I left them alone for 15 minutes to see how they would do.
I took them for an extended drive to see how they would do and they are unfazed; asleep in the first 5 minutes and not a peep until the destination when they patiently wait for their human to gently take them out of the car.
Inside they prefer lying at your feet or on the couch. They stand by the door to do their business, are very sweet and ask for loving; they have shown they are fantastic companions for a wide range of forever homes.
They are so sweet and attentive and make lots of eye contact. Joey and Zoey are just the sweetest, most perfect pair!
