Jill, an adorable pug mix with strong legs and flawless social skills, is a winner of the genetic lottery She’s got all the good pug stuff – rolls of velvety tan fur, including a super softy neck pillow and pert black ears – and a beagle’s snoot, long for better breathing with a hint of underbite and a white chin. The clincher, however, is her expression, enhanced by a black eye mask and well-placed wrinkles. It’s a mix of deep concern, righteous indignation, and abject disbelief. Friends, it isn’t just hysterical. It is life-affirming in ways we didn’t think were possible. Laughter is medicine; adopt her for your health.
Here’s some notes from her foster:
Jill is pure joy wrapped up in a potato-shaped body. When she gets excited she zooms around the room and then flops onto her back, belly up and ready for rubs. Her silly, goofy energy has earned her the nickname Silly Jilly and she lives up to it every day. Between her perfect underbite, expressive eyes, goofy quirks, and her big heart, you will be smiling every day with Jill by your side.
She loves her walks and gets so excited when the leashes come out. She often insists on bringing a toy along for the ride. At home she is a huge lover girl, happiest by your side or close enough to keep her big, expressive eyes on you. At night she sleeps soundly right by your side like an angel. Jill loves new people and quickly wins everyone over. She wishes my dog would snuggle and play, and while she can be persistent with her attempts, she respects his boundaries when he says no (i.e. runs away from her).
She is also working hard on potty training and alone time. With consistency and patience she has already shown a lot of progress, and would love the same consistency and patience during her transition to her new home.
The perfect home for Jill is one where her family is around often and ready to give her the love and attention she craves. She promises to return it tenfold with laughter, cuddles, and so much affection.
