Jigsaw is about 50% ears. This cute boy is pretty active for a senior, and would probably love to walk around your neighborhood with you and try and make as many new friends as possible.
Here’s a note from his foster:
Jigsaw is a tiny little ball of affection who is just waiting for the right human to shower all that affection on! He is friendly with dogs and humans of all shapes and sizes, and has never met a lap he didn’t like. If there isn’t a lap available, he’s second happiest snuggling under a warm, fuzzy blanket (tail sometimes sticking out).
He was a stray prior to coming to Muttville, so it took him a while to get used to our house and things like taking the stairs, but after about a week or so, he mastered going up and down the stairs to our backyard and the doggy stairs to get up on the bed. His house training is still a work in progress but with some consistency, encouragement and positive reinforcement, I am confident that Jigsaw will master house training in no time!
Jigsaw might be a senior, but he still loves taking walks around the neighborhood and is pretty healthy for his age. We’ll usually go for a 20-30 minute walk everyday, with plenty of stops for him to ‘smell the roses’. He has a pretty good appetite and loves food so much that he will literally lick his bowl clean, plus lick my other dogs’ bowls clean! He licks those bowls so clean that I almost don’t have to wash them!
Jigsaw will make the perfect companion for someone who just wants a small, chill dog to love. All he asks for is an available lap, or a blanket to snuggle under, and he is the happiest little mutt you’ll ever meet!
