Jet is a lovey dovey girl, always ready to give kisses. She may have impaired vision, but she sure knows how to find someone to cuddle with. You’ll be glad to snuggle up with this soft quiet cutie!
HERE’S WHAT JET’S FOSTER MOM HAS TO SAY!
Jet will steal your heart from the very beginning! She’s sweeter than pie and we already love her. Our drive from HQ was about 2 hours and she sat on my lap the whole time and didn’t make a peep.
Even though Jet is blind, she gets around very well. She is getting used to the layout of our home and knows where our back door is to come inside when she’s in the yard. She’s pretty adventurous, so a home with no stairs would definitely be best for her. She loves to walk around and get to know her surroundings so we don’t want her to take a tumble!.
Jet seems to be potty trained. She hasn’t had an accident in our home and we have even found her using a potty pad, such a smart girl!!! She is not on daily medication and just requires a medicated bath 2x a week. She is a true queen and likes mainly wet food with a little kibble, she eats very well!
The only time she has let out a bark is when she couldn’t find us, but it’s only for a split second then she settles in her bed. We have 6 dogs and they can be a little spicy at times and she pays them no attention – she’s great with other dogs and will even snuggle with them. She sleeps in a bed on the floor at night and does not move. The first night was the only night she had a little trouble sleeping, she got up and walked around for about 5 mins then went back to sleep. She loves having beds and blankets all around to choose from, her favorite spot is on a pillow in our closet, so I think flat beds might be her thing!
When we are home we let her on the couch with us and on our bed and she loves it. She rolls around and plays with us for a few minutes before settling down to rest. She’s a perfect combo of couch potato and playful dog.
Whoever adopts Jet will be the luckiest family ever! She’s seriously one of the easiest dogs we have fostered. She’s a very special girl! :)
