Jessie is about a six year old, spayed female. She is 49% German Shepherd, 25% American Staffordshire Terrier, 25% American Pit Bull Terrier, 1% Shiloh Shepard, and 1% White Swiss Shepherd. She weighs about 55-60 pounds.
She has had training where she learned to sit, stay, come, wait, place, and heel. She is potty trained, but when she first gets to know someone, she tends to have little leak accidents. She walks well on a leash and loves to take walks. She has been in a home with two other dogs. She gets along really well with the small Miniature Pinscher, playing with him and laying with him. She has gone to the dog park numerous times and likes to spend time with other dogs, but would prefer to stay close to her humans.
She is also barks on command, is very treat motivated, and is kennel trained. She also comes with her kennel.
It would be suggested that she be the only dog in the house, but not necessary. When at home, she loves to follow her humans around and be in the same room as them. Once Jessie bonds with her humans, she is very loyal. She has never been around a cat, but has been around a rabbit. She tends to be preoccupied with the rabbit, but has never attacked it. At times, she can get fixated on watch reflections, but she does it less when she has appropriate toys to help her get her energy out. Jessie will bark when she sees others that she doesn’t know, but will warm up quickly. We are trying to find a forever home for her and trying to not bring her to a shelter
This is a courtesy post. Jessie! is not a Muttville dog. If you are interested in adopting Jessie! and want to learn more about her, please contact: Danielle at Caputd22@yahoo.com.
