Transplanted from the Wild Wild West straight into the heart of San Francisco, California, is the legendary Jesse Jane. Twice removed distant cousin of the infamous outlaw Jesse James, this young lady is quiet the opposite of him. She actually is a saint. She spends a great deal of her time tutoring kids after school and in the evenings she prepares meals for the less fortunate. Shuffling from house to house with her adorable waddle walk, she delivers these meals of comfort to anyone that asks for help. No questions asked. She expects nothing in return. All this mutt wants to do is spread love throughout the community. The only thing Miss Jesse Jane is in need of is someone to love her back and a place to rest her tired paws at night.

Such a sweet girl. Soulful eyes, very friendly demeanor and not a bark. Seems to handle unexpected scooters, motorcycles, bikes and loudish noises without much reaction.
She’s very playful for her 8 yrs. Not so interested in balls or toys ( except to chew them up).
She is a very sweet houseguest. She’s a quick learner to a routine. Loves her walks and especially loves to ride in the car. No accidents- lucky for us. Seems very chill. She likes nothing better than to lounge on her cushions and a good cuddle. Food motivated, but not too motivated ( which can be distracting). Managing the stairs with assistance. She’s definitely a full body wag. Jesse Jane "may? be a senior dog , but she has the heart and energy of a younger self. She’s very puppyish and playful. She has incredible hearing , eyesight and smell. With our regular exercise, her stamina and strength has increased remarkably, as has her wonky back legs.
She recently has been able to do stairs without a sling! Such a deal breaker for her.
She really loves to people watch, with hopes that someone will stop and give a hug and cuddle. She gets plenty of them.
