We all wish we could be Jesse’s girl!
Jesse is a very handsome, scruffy little terrier. He’s a very sweet boy. Jesse is the kind of cute that will have people stopping you on the street, and commenting on what a cutie he is. Although he can be a little shy at first, but warms up to you and gets to know you, he comes right out of his shell and acts like you are long lost friends. Poor Jesse was surrendered when his person became too ill to care for himself, let alone a dog. As sad as that is, he is excited for the next chapter and has so much love to give. Jesse has a soft sensitive way about him and would be the most comfortable in a quieter home with adults. He loves walks in the afternoon and evening, really anytime. He is on the younger side for our seniors, and would also really enjoy trips to the beach or hikes in the hills. Jesse is a real gem, so come down to Muttville to meet this cutie!
HERE’S WHAT HIS FOSTER HAD TO SAY:
Jesse is such a good boy! He is very sensitive, polite, quiet and just will steal your heart. He is definitely searching for his “person” and is eager to keep you in his sights at all time. Once he knows you are staying put he is happy to curl up in his bed and snooze peacefully.
He is housebroken and a good walker, although he does get a bit nervous in highly trafficked areas and can sometimes be startled by loud noises. For that reason I think Jesse would be happiest in a relatively calm environment and would love if his new person either worked from home, could bring him to work (he happily sits on my lap while I type), or is retired etc.
Jesse is definitely very interested in other dogs and will bark while out VERY occasionally (other than that I have heard absolutely no noise out of him). I think he could be fine in a home with existing dogs, but would definitely need to find the right fit, and I get the sense he would generally like to keep to himself.
He is just looking for his forever home!
Jesse is estimated to be 7 years young and weighs 11 lbs.
