Tail wagger alert!! Jasper is a super friendly, happy, and affectionate dog. He loves going on walks and doesn’t pull on leash, can walk up stairs, and has shown to be potty trained during his time at the shelter. Jasper is described by volunteers as “the sweetest dog you will ever meet.”
He is about 12 years old and is a fospice dog through the San Francisco SPCA Fospice Program. We are hoping a Muttville supporter will open their heart and home to Jasper. He has an aggressive cancer and is expected to live about six months. Hopefully during those months he will be spoiled with love and the comforts of a home. Jasper does not appear to be too bothered by his condition, although he may become less active at some point. If you are able provide love and care for Jasper during his final months, the San Francisco SPCA would love to work with you. They will provide palliative care to help keep him comfortable, as well as end of life services when it is his time.
