Jake has been waiting for a home of his own for far too long! When you first meet him, he may seem a little aloof and stand offish, but if you give him just a little time he will be your most loyal and devoted companion. Jake is about 12 years young and he is great with other dogs. He would also be fine in a home with cats. He would, however, prefer a home without young children. Despite being 80 pounds, he does not pull on leash at all. He is very much a gentle giant.
Jake’s favorite things are walks, food, and being petted, which makes him a pretty low maintenance guy. He is great in the car and makes a wonderful office companion as well, though he is also fine staying at home during the workday. When he wants you to scratch him, he will make no attempt at hiding it. He will paw you and look up at you with his deep brown eyes until you give him attention. There is no way anyone could resist his precious face. If you are looking for a faithful friend, look no further than Jake!
