This handsome shepherd mix is not only sweet and fun, but also incredibly smart and obedient, making him the perfect companion for any family. He is a social butterfly and enjoys playing with his furry friends, making him a great addition to any family. So if you’re seeking a furry friend, who’ll be with you until the very end, choose Jake, he’s a dog like no other,Loving, loyal, and full of wonder!

Here’s some notes from his foster:

Jake responds well :) He isHouse trained! Loves long hikes and walks – we’ve been going 4-5 miles a day :) He is always happy for his breakfast and dinner! Sleeps well through the night and waits for you to get up – he’s a sleepy head too

He is a big ol’ mellow teddy bear at home and in car. Super chill and also loves and energetically walks . And can get in and out of the car very well ( no issues with stairs either!) he’s a strong one :)

He likes lounging on warm soft blankets and especially the couch! ( he is very respectful though and waits until I invite him up on the couch and will stay off or out of a room/ furniture if told ) – loves head scratches and will give you a kiss when he is happy. He likes taking his time to know you at first and then is a love bug and likes showing affection

I love him so much! He is such a good buddy and quiet and mellow when left alone for a few hours.

Likes saying hi to other dogs so far on leash – no negative reactions to any size dogs and isn’t bothered by other dogs barking at him either – he kind of just ignores it and continues his sniffing or walking

He is the only pet at my place and has been wonderful on his own

He was curious about the bunny rabbits on the trails by my house but didn’t seem to have intense prey drive.
