Iris is a delicate flower who’s ready to bloom!
This lovely puggle is soft and gentle. She enjoys a good snooze on a comfy bed. Iris hasn’t had the best care in the past; we’re so glad she’s now at Muttville where she can get the TLC she needs. Do you want to help this mellow sweetie enjoy her golden years to the fullest?

Iris is a mellow girl who lives for food, interesting scents and a sun spot to nap in. She doesn’t seem to be bothered by anything, as she has been completely indifferent but respectful to our 2 cats, and our medium-sized resident high-energy dog. Out at the park, she is a polite greeter but has no interest in getting to know other dogs or people, preferring to sniff around at her leisure and sit patiently when she’s finished.
Iris is very content when left alone. Separation anxiety will not be a problem for her. She is happy to spend the majority of her day napping on a dog bed by, and probably would take to crate training easily. She has been left alone in the house for about an hour, and likely could do much more without any issues. Additionally, she’s not much of a vocalizer.
Overall, she’s not the exercising type and would prefer to get her daily enrichment by using her nose to explore the environment and find treats. Iris holds her bladder throughout the night, and knows not to let it out on bedding or furniture. We do take her out very frequently to do her business so easy access to a secure yard would probably suit her well.
Iris is such a sweet little lady, her easy-going nature will win you over!
