Mr. Indestructible, known by his close friends as "Indy, is a fluffy fox that mistakenly ended up at a dog rescue. Muttville doesn’t rescue micro foxes, but since this one is so sweet and polite, we have decided to make an exception.
Here’s what Indy’s foster has to say about him:
“We have fostered consistently since 2019 and Indy is one of the sweetest dogs we have ever had the privilege of fostering. He LOVES to curl up right next to you or right on your lap. He is a fantastic work buddy for all your work from home days. Indy and our dog, Couscous, coexist very well with one another. Indy is not dog reactive or food aggressive, which makes for a great housemate.
If there was a documentary made about Indy, it would be called Free Solo II because when you’re lounging on the couch, he loves to climb on you to say hello (sometimes very close to your face)! He has great energy! We can’t believe he is 10. He loves to play and is great on walks. As other dogs pass by, Indy pay no attention. He refuses to be distracted from smelling all the things.
We have only had this sweet boy for a few days and there have been some accidents in the house, but hey, we have all been there. He knows to use the pee pads we have for Couscous and has pretty clear body language when it is time to go out. I am confident that with time the indoor accidents will stop.
One note of caution. Indy and Houdini might have a lot in common. We have construction next door where a tiny hole was made in our wooden fence. Indy was small enough to fit right through it. Luckily we were there to grab him, but it is super important to have a secured area.
Indy is going to be a wonderful addition to any household!"
