Hugo is a pocket-sized pup that can’t wait to meet you!
Hugo comes to us from Fresno, where he was found as a stray. He is so excited that Muttville is going to help him find his new forever friend! This little gentleman loves to cuddle up on a warm bed for nice long naps. Do you have room for this peanut to rest in his retirement years?
Hugo is 13 years old and weighs just 5lbs.

Hugo is 5lbs of love! He has attached to all of us with ease & loves to be wherever we are. From the couch to the car, this guy is ready to go. Hugo is a low key senior. He can get up on low furniture, but will need a helping hand to join you on higher beds or couches. He is not a big walker. He’s happy to go out do his business & head back home. We’ve been working with him on stairs, and he can go down now, but sometimes he can’t go up without some help. Hugo loves other dogs. He just adores our mutt who can certainly give a cold shoulder, but he just keeps on trying! If she’s on the bed first, he will ask if he can join. If he’s up there first, she just plops down & he tries to wiggle as close as he can. Hugo is house-broken, & will signal by sitting near the door. He loves chicken! We usually cook a batch in the slow cooker & he just loves it. He is just the most adorable, sweet little buddy you could have.
