It has to be Hugh! We’ve wandered around and finally found this perfect mutt, Hugh! He’s silky soft, sweet and tender plus a fan of other mutts. And just look at that face! Who else could it possibly be? It has to be Hugh!
HERE’S WHAT HIS FOSTER HAS TO SAY!
Hugh is such a tenderhearted boy and a real snuggler! His fur is extra soft. He knows his name and responds to it pretty well even in the short time we have been together. He is a happy eater and we have been giving him wet food so far with some boiled chicken mixed in. Today he seems more comfortable taking crunchy treats from my hand and eating most anything we try.
He is a very athletic pup! He and I have gone on multi-mile walks a couple times a day and he really enjoys a stroll at any pace. He has not yet vocalized at all, he doesn’t cry at night or bark at people or dogs!
He loves being very close to you which happened really quick after I picked him up. He is a bit shy around brand new folks, but warms up very quickly. Last night on Halloween we watched a movie in the backyard with a couple friends and he snuggled up and snoozed all the way through on the lap of a person he just met that night.
He would benefit from a calmer hone environment and seems a little wary of loud sounds, sudden movements and high energy dogs. He loves to be pet and cuddled once he warms up to you, though he is not as into kisses on the face. He always sits right next to me when I stretch on a yoga mat and demands belly rubs and sometimes does a little downward dog too : )
He roams our backyard freely with the gate closed and comes in the house when called. He is totally content to take long naps on the couch or floor near you while you work from home or watch a movie. He seems to sleep through the night and has been snuggling on my bed with me and my partner. He is looking for his lifelong best friend(s) that he can spend his days with!
