Meet Huckleberry, an adorable boy who is as sweet as pie!
Huckleberry can’t wait for his new beginning, and was ecstatic when he heard that Muttville was going to help him find his forever person! He is a mellow old boy who would love a nice warm bed to cuddle up on. This gentleman is well behaved and is good meeting new people and other dogs. We think Huckleberry is around 11 years young and weighs about 35 pounds.
Here’s what Huckleberry’s foster has to say about him:
Huckleberry is a super super sweet dog. He’s quiet, mellow & wags his tail with a series of quick tap tap taps when you walk in the room. At meal time he’ll sit & wait while you get his food ready & he has excellent posture. Like a good beagle hound dog, he loves sniffing everything in his path. When we’re home he’s happy to snuggle next to you. If he feels like a change of scenery, he’ll switch it up & pick a couch or bed to snooze in. Huckleberry likes a good walk in the park & we did our first walk outside for about 20-25 minutes. It was a normal walking pace with lots of sniffing. When home, Huckleberry sleeps. He doesn’t need much, just some comfy spots to curl up & he’s content, full of Zzzzzzz’s. Huckleberry is friendly with all dogs. He’s had a few accidents in the house but we are working on it. Huckleberry LOVES chicken & jerky snacks. I get a kick out of watching Huckleberry change spots – he likes to sleep on the couch or on my bed.
