You may call him Howie but he prefers Howard. Howard the dog is a retired electric guitar player. He loved playing shows at local nightclubs every weekend. His enormous chihuahua ears gave him the ability to listen to a song and play every cord to the T. He played for years until his little paws became callus and tired. Now he prefers lounging with his doggy friends reminiscing about his days of fame. When he’s not kickin it on the sofa he loves to go for walks and stretch his really long legs! If you’re an introvert, have no fear, Howard is here! He will chat it up with anyone willing to listen. You will never have to worry about an awkward silence with this sweet and friendly boy!
Here’s some notes from his foster:
Howard is a very calm and collected fellow. He is an early riser, and has been up around 5am for a morning walk. He enjoys longer walks throughout the day and plenty of naps in between. He has amazing long legs and when he is really laying down and comfy, they stick out all over the place!
He has a fascination for birds and loves to watch them from afar (He might actually want to chase them if he could!) He likes a good scratch or a cuddle, but prefers to settle down solo. He has not had any accidents in the house, which leads us to believe that he is potty trained, and he does not bark.
When Howard sees another fellow dog, sometimes he whines because he really wants to make friends. So, having another dog in the house would be absolutely fantastic for him. He is extremely friendly for both dogs and humans that he meets! He can’t wait to meet you!
