Do you know what will have you feeling cool this summer? Cruising around with a cutie like Hotrod on your arm! This handsome little man has a doggy grin that’ll entice you to smile back and an aura of cool that extends far beyond his little potato frame. Hotrod, as the name implies, has a bit of pep in his step, so much so that you might think he got into Muttville with a fake ID, but this good boy also takes plenty of peppy naps as well. He’s zooming around on his race to find a forever home, and he’s hoping to cross the finish line very soon! If you see the black and white checkered flag from your vantage point, won’t you wave him down?

“Hot Rod’s” name didn’t make any sense to me until I saw how she behaves near an open door: she’s an escape artist! In order to thwart her efforts to rush out, I pick her up, open the door, then set her inside and quickly close the door. She just goes back to bed and naps until I come back. She has somehow synchronized her potty habits with my nighttime trips to the bathroom. Best to watch your step or you will be standing on a wet pee pad.
