Meet Hot Toddy, the dashing gentleman who’s as handsome as they come! While he may start off a little shy, don’t let that fool you-this sweet boy quickly warms up and is actually the most outgoing. He’s been making fast friends with the other dogs and loves to show off his friendly side. Whether it’s hanging out with his furry pals or just soaking up some love, Hot Toddy is ready to find his forever home where his personality can truly shine!

This boy looooves his food. He is such an explorer, wanting to sniff out every corner of the apartment as soon as he walked in! He might not want to walk long distances (especially in this rain, but also, same!) but he’s got plenty of pep and loves playing with toys. I think he’s going to be an absolute goof once he’s comfortable. He is my absolute shadow around the house and will spend a couple minutes finding*exactly*the right position to snuggle up next to me on the couch. Once settled, he’ll stay as long as I do!
He’s been super tolerant of my two cats – he doesn’t necessarily want to play or curl up with them and gives them the eye if they seem like they want to try, but he otherwise happily ignores them! He was tolerant of a dog barking at him on a walk, and gently sniffed butts with another before continuing on.
He slept like a rock through the night, but needs to go out to pee immediately after getting up from sleeping/napping. It seems like he can hear but I don’t think very well. His eyesight is pretty good for an old man!
Overall, just the sweetest little snuggle buddy. I’m sure he’s gonna get scooped up quick!!
