Honeycrisp is a hound who has searched near and far in search of the perfect forever home. She’s got the sweetest black and white markings – have you ever looked up at the sky and tried to find the shapes in the clouds? You can do the same in Honeycrisp’s fur, because every time she moves, her patterns shuffle a bit like a kaleidoscope. Potentially a bit on the shyer side, Honeycrisp likes small gatherings instead of huge house parties, and she’s hoping to capture someone’s attention to be the apple of their eye. Every perfect pup deserves to be a pampered princess in their golden years, so Honeycrisp is hoping to find a happy ending that is sweeter than apples. Can you help her find it?

Joyce here, Honeycrisp’s foster. I only had her for 24 hours, essentially the day after she arrived from her Hawaii flight, but she totally stole our hearts in the short time she was in our home. She is the sweetest girl ever and I think prefers a more calm and quiet place to settle. She appears to be a quick learner. She is quite independent but began to open up with us and came to sit by my side, and accepted some belly rubs!
She maybe a bit guarded and slow to warming up at first but will eventually look at you with her soulful knowing eyes. She does like her treats, but I think you may need to walk away and allow her to enjoy them in private at first.
