Hobart is a very sweet and mellow gentleman who’s looking for a nice family to love on. He’s not a big fan of being picked up just yet, but will happily let you pet him for hours. He follows you around while you’re doing chores, and plops in his bed when he wants a quick nap.
He doesn’t bark and is potty trained. He does have some old man joints so I’m not sure if a home with a bunch of stairs is the best option for him. He enjoys the company of people and other dogs, so I think he would thrive in a family environment with older kids or kids in college.
He sleeps through the night in his own doggy bed next to my bed. He loves food and will happily trot behind you in the kitchen. He is a little chonky so I think he can go on a diet, and it might help with his mobility.
